Contact
Email: chen1009799736@foxmail.com
When contacting support, include your iOS version, TextSieve app version, device model, and a short description of the issue. Please redact phone numbers, verification codes, tracking links, addresses, and other sensitive message details unless you intentionally choose to include them.
Privacy-Safe Support
TextSieve does not provide a developer dashboard, remote account, cloud message database, or analytics console. Support can only review the information you choose to send by email.
If you are reporting a missed spam or scam message, a redacted example is usually enough. You can remove names, phone numbers, one-time codes, addresses, links, and any personal details before sending it.
Set Up SMS Filtering
- Open TextSieve and review the default filtering categories.
- Add any custom sender, keyword, whitelist, or blacklist rules you want.
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Go to Messages, then Unknown & Spam. The exact path may vary by iOS version.
- Turn on SMS filtering and select TextSieve as the filtering app.
- Return to TextSieve any time you want to adjust your rules.
Troubleshooting
TextSieve is not filtering messages.
Confirm that TextSieve is selected in iOS Settings under Messages and Unknown & Spam. The exact Settings path may vary by iOS version. Open TextSieve once after installing or updating the app so the latest rules are saved for the message filter extension.
Too many messages are being filtered.
Add trusted senders to the whitelist, lower the weight of aggressive keyword rules, disable categories you do not need, or raise the filtering threshold in the app.
A scam or spam message was missed.
Add a sender rule, keyword rule, or suspicious-link pattern that matches the message. TextSieve is customizable, so your local rules can be tuned for the message types you receive most often.
Rules are not syncing to another device.
Rules are stored locally for privacy. TextSieve does not upload rules to a cloud account. Use the app's import and export tools if you want to move a rules file yourself.
